As if it's not tragic enough for Christie Brinkley that her fourth husband, architect Peter Cook allegedly cheated on her with a 19 year old girl, but the same man had a relationship with another 19 year old girl 10 years ago.
And there are more parallels to Brinkley's cheating husband, Peter Cook. Both women he had affairs with were wined and dined by him, both were from Southampton, New York, both worked as his assistants and both had a parent working for law enforcement.
Brinkley has told several sources close to her that, " my primary interest at this troubling time is for the protection of my children. Yes, my husband did cheat on my and I should have seen it coming sooner because it was right there in front of me."
The 52-year-old CoverGirl spokes model had one child with Cook, eight-year-old daughter Sailor Lee. Her soon-to-be ex hubby also adopted Brinkley's son, Jack, now 11, when the duo first tied the knot in September 1996. The boy's biological father is Brinkley's third husband, developer Richard Taubman.

Brinkley's publicist, Elliot Mintz confirmed Brinkley's break up with her husband and asked that people respect her privacy right now during these difficult times.
