Eminem is wanted by police who want to question about an alleged assault.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the rap superstar was visiting a strip club in the city’s 8-Mile district, made famous by Eminem’s
semi-biographical film of the same name, when a fight broke out.
The scuffle occurred in the Cheetah club toilets, and a 48-year-old Michigan man claims he was assaulted.
The victim, only known as Miad J, told local ABC News affiliate WXYZ he had been punched in the face four or five times by Eminem on Thursday (13.07.06) at 1.15am.
Miad J said: “Eminem started swinging. I wasn’t even expecting it. I was just minding my own business.”
A spokesperson for Cheetah confirmed a fight had taken place and Eminem had been involved.
Police say two suspects fled from the club in a car and a third person was seen in the same vehicle wielding a firearm.
The firearm was not pointed at anyone outside the Cheetah club.
